  • 1990: Don Maxwell 280 not out for the York University Cricket Club against the Commonwealth Cricket Club at Toronto. (Toronto & District Cricket Association 3rd Division match.)
  • 1932: Don Bradman (later Sir Donald) 260 for the Australian XI against the Western Ontario XI at Guelph.
  • 1913: R.J. (Jack) Beecham 249 for the Burrard Cricket Club against the New Westminster Cricket Club at Vancouver.
  • 1991: Garvin Budhoo 240 for the Lions Cricket Club against the East Kildonan Cricket Club at Winnipeg.
  • 1894: George S. Lyon 238 not out for the Rosedale Cricket Club against the Peterborough Cricket Club at Toronto.
  • 1985: Randolph Soobrian 237 for the Heritage Cricket Club against the Finchdale Cricket Club at Toronto.
  • 1904: W.A. Henry 225 not out for the Wanderers Cricket Club against the Garrison Cricket Club at Halifax.
  • The first recorded double century in Canadian cricket occurred in 1877 when R.J. Leisk scored 202 for the Hamilton Cricket Club against the Montreal Cricket Association at Hamilton.
  • Other notable double centuries scored in Canadian cricket.
    • 1903: J.M. (Jack) Laing scored 249 for the Wanderers Cricket Club against the Douglas Park Cricket Club at Chicago, Chicago Cricket Association match. Jack Laing was a Canadian cricketer.
    • 1987: S.F.A. (Faoud) Bacchus scored 251 not out for the Cosmos Cricket Club against the Ajax Cricket Club at Ajax, Ontario. This was a friendly match. Faoud Bacchus played test cricket for the West Indies and he also appeared for Canada and the United States at the International level.
