CA Smith of the Authors was better known as Aubrey Smith,
Hollywood actor of the 1930s (star of 'The Prisoner of
Zenda') and captain of England in a Test Match in South
Africa in 1888-89. HB Warner was later to star in Cecil B
de Mille's biblical epic, 'King of Kings', in 1927.
